Hi Grace! I was going to ask you a question for you to put on your blog.

Dear Grace, I was wondering,
One of my friends is going to Oakland Junior High and my other friend is going to Lane Junior High. My dad is saying I can go to one of those two, and that is it. What should I do to make my friends both happy?

Thanks,

Crafts

What do you guys think about me doing a funny photo or craft column for Grace's Awesome Possum Blog? I really don't know if I could be the best at crafts, but I'll try! If anyone has any suggestions on crafts that are cheap and can be easily made at home (NO LOOP BRACELETS, I AM TERRIBLE AT THAT!) than I would love to hear your thoughts on that!

See ya in the next article,

Grace

Fashion Don'ts

Fashion

Dont's!

Though you may cling to these fashions, maybe loosen up a bit and try to think about similar, but more stylish things! Here you go!

Old Fashioned Romper

Now, you may be thinking, but...I like or rompers. And yes, they are very, very comfortable for just chilling in, but you may see a pattern like this and think "This looks a bit.. like something my grandmother would wear or my very mature mom." But to be honest, at the end of the day, patterns like this on comfy rompers don't really work out the best. I recommend wearing more romper's like this:

Pretty, Modern Rompers

Wearing denim rompers or even cute overalls over clothes can really change the age group of what type of romper you are looking for. See the difference?

Bootcut Jeans
Bootcut Jeans. Well, they are called Bootcut for a reason. Be sure you don't wear tennis shoes with bootcut jeans, especially to P.E. or they might look a little.... un-bootcut.

The Fashion Statements You Can Start

Fashion

To expand my blogspot a bit more, I decided to show you some of the interesting parts of do's for fashion and for me personally. Here you go!

Shoe Dazzle Shoes

These awesome purple shoes are gorgeous even just to look at! The Royal purple color is a perfect color for the upcoming fall,  and the wedges... well, just make you taller!  Even though these shoes may not be your size, try and find some in this color or style at Kohl's, Target, Payless Shoes, or anywhere else you can find this trend!

Yellow Polka-Dot Skirt

This AMAZING skirt is so chic and colorful, it looks almost like it is for spring! You can wear this skirt or any other bright skirt in fall just to stand out from the crowd or make yourself more noticeable to almost anyone! Try finding a bright skirt with polka dots and you can show the world how beautiful you can be!

Mickey Mouse Sweatshirt

When you think of Mickey Mouse you probably think, ummm... I am way toooo old for that! But don't automatically think that because Mickey Mouse has made a comeback in Tweens and teens and... even adults everywhere! Don't be afraid to go to school with a childhood friend on your shirt!
It's fashionable and you could even start a new trend at your school! Check for shirts/sweatshirts to wear like these for the cold fall days and you'll be just fine! :)

I hate when people cyber bully you. Earlier today I said something to comment on youtube and sadly, someone said something mean. For all those people out there reading this that do get cyber bullied, I am truly sorry. The first thing you should do is tell your parents like I did. Don't hide what happened or this might make everything worse. If it still continues and your parents don't do anything about it, inform other adults or your friends so that you can talk to them instead of mean people on the internet. Email them, skype or text them on your phone, and try to ignore all the mean things that some people say. I know it might hurt your feelings, because that happens to everyone. Try not to fight back no matter what they say. Be sure to tell an adult immediately and try to stay off of whatever website people are bullying you on or just don't comment on things. These are the best things to do! I hope you have a good rest of the week and are looking forward to the first day of school! Bye guys and talk to you later!!! :)

Funny Jokes: August 20th Special

Hey guys, how are you? If you would like, I am thinking about doing a riddle/joke or two. Okay. Here they are:

1. There once was a church with a boy. He rang the bell at the top of the church, but one day, he found a better job that paid more and left the church. The pastor went all around the neighborhood looking for people he could hire for the job, but no one really seemed right. So one day, he was sitting in his bedroom reading the bible when the doorbell rang. He got up and answered the door to see a man with no arms. The man said "I am here applying for the job." "What... job?" The pastor asked surprised. "Well, the one where you ring the church bell." replied the armless man. "But how will you do that?" The pastor questioned. "Come watch and you will see." So the pastor and the man walked to the very top of the church and the man took his head and bang it against the bell. It made a sharp ringing sound and the man didn't look like his head hurt at all. "Well, I guess if you can do that without getting hurt than there is no problem, is there?" The man shook his head. "Nope!" He joyfully answered, slightly rubbing the side of his head. "Okay, then, it is settled. My assistant will tend to your paycheck then!" The pastor ran inside, and later on heard the sound of the bell. He did again the next day, and the next every day twice a day. Soon, the pastor forgot who was actually ringing the bell. He just remembered that the bell was being rung. A couple days later at noon, the man with no arms once again got to the top of the tower of the church to get ready to ring the bell. The wind was blowing a lot that day, and his hair was all in his face. He tried to see, but couldn't and when his head jerked forward, it was to the wrong direction and he fell headfirst on the ground. All the townspeople gathered together to see the hurt man, who had fell 3 stories down and was surely dead. The townspeople asked the pastor who the man was and the pastor said "That face rings a bell."

2. Riddle- There is a tall mountain that no one can get to except by underground train. When you get to the mountain, all the houses look alike, even the addresses. How do you tell which house is which?
Answer: By which road it is on.

3. Riddle: There was once a kid and his great-grandfather fought in World War 1. He was telling his great-grandson stories of the war. He said he was a great fighter and he had a sword that he got right after the war that was from Paris that said "Award Of World War 1"
How is this not possible?
Answer: World War 2 hadn't came yet!

4. Riddle: There is a bear. He walks into McDonalds and says "Hummmmm.... I'll have.... fries."
The cashier says "Why the big paws?" And the bear says "I was born with 'em."

Get it?
Answer: Why the big paws? Why the big pause? :)
